College graduate and jobless

Hello all,

After I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in social work, I thought that having a degree would be my key to success and what I wanted to do in life (helping people). Having a degree means better pay right? Wrong. It's been 8 months after I graduated and I'm still unemployed, I've applied for state/federal jobs, non-profit jobs, office jobs, I even applied to Target and have yet to receive a call from anyone except a bank. The bank refused to hire me because they weren't willing to work with my upcoming school schedule (pursuing my Masters in the fall). I cried so hard that day because I felt as if God was punishing me for something and I sat there pondering what he could be punishing me for. I keep reminding myself that He is still on the throne and a job will come in His time, but it gets hard and my faith wanes when I look at my bank statement and see that I only have $122 left. I know this is a test and I'm sure with the way the economy is that everyone is suffering, so I pray for everyone out there who's struggling to make ends meet and feels there is no where else to turn. We have to keep praying and keep our heads up. We are all apart of God's divine plan! Aside from that, I always pray that the Lord will help me to walk in His Will & Purpose for my life (whatever that may be) and to bring my broken family together again. I can go on and on about the issues I have right now but before I go on a rampage (lol) let me say that in spite of it all, I am thankful for what He's already done! Thank you in advance for your prayers and I will continue to pray for you!

I Understand how you feel, I had to quit my job in December because they was not able to work with my school schedule. I recently graduated in May so I have been without one for the same amount of time as you. I also filled out so many job applications that I can't even count anymore ( Target also lol NOTHING). I started losing the will to get up or do anything, and I was getting knocks after knocks on my door about bills and coming to collect furniture but some how through the help of GOD and my boyfriend(who God has been blessing to pay the bills alone) I'm still kicking. Hearing about your very similar situation encouraged me so, I am uniting with you and others in our pray for a prosperous blessing, not just financially but spiritually, physically,mentally, and emotionally. God Bless and God is love We are going to be just fine. I believe and we will receive it. AMEN

Lord,

I pray that you will bless Shunda and everybody else out there who is struggling not only financially but those who are suffering mentally, spiritually, physically, and even academically Lord. Lord I pray that you will open doors for all of us, but most of all I pray that you will bless us with Your grace and mercy! In these hard times Lord it is easy to lose sight of your love and the plans You have for us but I pray you will make our faith stronger than it has ever been and keep us on the right path. Lord we love You and will forever give You the honor and the glory! In the name of Jesus I pray, AMEN!

Anybody who is reading this I encourage you to stay strong and prayerful. The devil is busy and looking for lives to ruin and souls to take, he is very happy right now. I also encourage you to lift someone up despite what you're going through, we could all use some encouragement right now! Thank you & God bless!!

Dear Lord

Thank you for enabling Lialani to achieve her Social work degree. Lord I pray for a job for lialani that You will enable her to increase her territory and to do your will. Lord I pray that not only will this job be pleasing to You, but the employers that be, accommodate Lialani for her masters. Lord, may Your will be realised first and foremost. Lord, you know the situation at home and so I pray that EVERYONE in Lialani's family comes into alignment with You and Your word, that You are the common glue that holds them and restores their love for each other in faith by Your grace. Lord, build them up, soften their hearts to hear Your will Lord as they support each other through this trying time.
