A prayer for God to guide me in the right direction in all I do.

Right now, I am asking that you all pray for me on my journey. Lately I have been noticing that I am turning from a Christian to a "church folk". Instead of God being the reason why I do all that I do, I am finding myself too wrapped up in work I do in the church. I love the Lord with all my heart, soul and mind. And I never want anything or anyone to interfere with that. I pray that my relationship with Him takes precedent over everything in my life. For I truly know that I would much rather have the pleasing eye of my God than of the members of my church. Pray for my strength as I pray for you all.

Dear Lord

Thank you for your spirit, thank you for your heavenly grace, Lord I pray in faith that you lift up this sister in Christ, to be guided by your will. Lord I am so thankful that I went to church and the pastor's message was based upon Martha and Mary. Lord this instance comes to mind. I pray that although the work is being done for the glory of you Lord, I pray that this person also finds time to meditate on having a closer relationship with you Lord ,like Mary. In Jesus's wonderful name,I pray. Amen
