Prayer for Patience & my family Empty Prayer for Patience & my family

Post  skelly on Mon Jul 18, 2011 11:47 am

Good Morning,

I am a wife and mother of a 3 yr old daughter. I recently lost my job 2 mos ago and I am now 5 mos pregnant. My husband is in school full time completing his degree as well as I. He was working part-time and is now working full-time but our finances are still strained. I had to pull my daughter out of Daycare away from her friends. Although, we always taught her at home I am now teaching her a school curriculum full-time b/c we want her to stay ahead.

Including all of what is going on in my life being pregnant makes it hard not to be emotional about these things. I am trying to have patience because I find myself coveting those who are employed. I need prayer to be patient and trust GOD will take care of my family and myself to provide all the things we need in whatever way it shall come to us. I need prayer to be strong for my husband and daughter as they need me now more than ever before. I need prayer that my husband does not feel overwhelmed with the load he is carrying and that I be his help- meet in any way possible. I pray my husband and I always remain calm regardless of the adversities we face. I need Peace to stop the worries of if I do happen to get an interview, "Why will they hire a pregnant woman?" Please pray for family and myself.Praise GOD for this network as I know we all need it more now than ever.

Thank you all in advance,

The Kelly's

God I thank you for the Kelly family, God you know their situation and the desires of their heart. God I pray that you will strengthen the even now. God you tell us that you will never put more on us than we can bear so in the name of Jesus I pray that you will give this family the ability to withstand this test and trial that they are in the midst of right now. Allow them to have faith to know that you have their situation under control. Help them to stop worrying and fretting over things they cannot control but instead push them to walk in the path you have laid out for them since before this world was formed. Give their household a peace that they could never understand and allow them to use this time that they have together to grow in love. God allow this family to see every moment in their lives as a blessing from you and as a chance to advance their relationship with you. God we thank you in advance for the great things you will use this family to do. I speak a word of protection over the two children and their parents. In the name of Jesus I pray Amen.

I know its hard and difficult but in times like this I like to remember Romans 8:28 All things work together for those that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose.
I take this verse to mean that if I love God and believe that I am living out his purpose in my life, than everything that happens to me, the things that seem good and the things that seem bad, are all necessary to make me into the person God has called me to be. So try not to view this situation in a negative light but instead think of how God will use this situation to bless your life and the lives of your husband and children. Out of great struggle comes great blessing and great testimony. I can't wait to see how God will use this trial to bless you. Be Encouraged
