Prayer Request

I am asking you all to pray for my marriage as we are going through a rough patch, I also need to request prayer for myself i recently had to sit out of nusing school because i did not pass one of my classes, i ask that you pray that i come back stronger than ever next qaurter and graduate on time in June 2012, pray also that i am able to find employment within the next month, things are about to get harder for us financially and we do not need any extra problems in our marriage. Things are looking really bad so i ask you all to please pray, Thank you in advance.

It sounds like EVERYTHING is going wrong all at once! I know the feeling. But when all areas of your life are difficult and in crisis, sometimes its a indication that you are going through a SEASON. And when you realise that then maybe you can take comfort in that, that there is actually a clear plan at work here. Ecclesiates tells us there is a season for everything. So in fact, your studies WILL improve, you and your husband WILL pass through this valley and be strengthened by this and come to know a deeper, tougher love for each other, and your finances WILL multiply in Jesus name. You are in winter, it is impossible that you will not know spring and then summer.

I read that when you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on. You dont need all the answers, you just need to get through today. i pray that God will show you practical, psychological and philosopical ways to get through each day and to keep your mind as free from worry and anxiety as possible. (see Matthew 6v34). Rather than trying to jump out of the fire, try and stay still and surrender so God can forge what he's trying to develop in you right now. Its so hard I know and I struggle with that too...

No matter what happens next month (in terms of employment) you will get through it. You are made in God's image ('wonderfully and fearfully made'). And dont forget Jeremiah 29v 11 - 'I know the thoughts that i think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on me and go and pray to me, and i will listen to you. And you will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.' What wonderful words!

Write down the specifics of what you need (Habbakuk 2.v2-'write down the vision and make it plain) and watch God answer and provide in unimaginable ways.

Ill keep you in my prayers but Ill also give thanksgiving for you, because I know it is already done!
